- CONSTRUCTION - Made with 4 pieces of galvanized steel and welded in multiple locations.
- SIZE AND DURABILITY - 1" wider than standard 10x30 stakes.
- FOOT PLATE - Features a strong .75" x 6" flat bar foot plate.
- PREVENTS BENDING - The unique foot plate design keeps the base prongs parallel when applying foot pressure, which prevents the bending and spreading often seen in standard wire stakes.
- COMPARISON TO THE COMMON 1/4" FIELD GOAL U TYPE - the legs on these are around 3/16". The extra thickness and welds keeps the legs straight. The 1/4" version is harder to push into the ground if the dirt is dense because the legs are thicker. The top prongs are also 2 pieces WELDED PARALLEL vs bent parallel, this requires way less adjustment. AND there are 2 weld points per prong, this keeps the top prongs from breaking at the weld. (this is the weak point on the HD 1/4")
